Life's a B*tch Outline
Johnney & Chris
Plans for how we’re going to come across our purpose in writing this would be to explain that sometimes life aint it. Although we go through some obstacles(which we will talk about the struggles of our papers) life can be a bit of a hassle to deal with. We plan to focus more on the Emotional side of things using lots of Pathos. Our message was pretty similar in even though life is a struggle, you need to keep your head high because it will get better. I think the design of how we’re going to be talking about this would be to just start off telling our stories and how they affect us, connecting them and talking about how we are now, how they have changed us as time has gone by. Organization should be simple, starting off on explaining the beginning of our two stories and planning on comparing them would be the way to go. As the podcast got further in, the plan would be to build off on explaining more in depth as time went by throughout our lives, describing how it felt and what it was like going through our shows during these moments of our lives, ending it off with how we are to this day, how the experience shaped us and how we plan to grow further from the life events thrown in our way. After all, the whole point of both of our narratives were to speak about the life after the incidents and what our lives are up to now, that was the whole message of our stories and how people can learn from these heart and soul breaking events Pathos again will be mainly used but kairos would also be heavily used in describing the time and the place of these events and how they fit into our lives.
Opening Intro:
Johnney: Have you ever been in a scenario where you believe that this could quite possibly be the worst moment of your life? Wondering how you’ll ever overcome these obstacles and constantly worrying about the future? Sometimes, Life sucks.
Chris: Yea, you’re right. Life can throw many obstacles at you like you’re playing baseball, but we all have to overcome them and know in the end we are able to do anything without giving up. It’s so easy to give up on our dreams and desires, but as long as you keep pushing and fighting to accomplish your goals in life things won’t be as hard as you make them.
Johnney: As the days go on, it’s seemingly hard to really remember to move on, even though it may seem grim it always will end up better than you think,
Johnney: I’m Johnny
Chris: and I’m Chris
Johnney: and Life Can be a Bitch, off
Chris: and on the Field.
*Johnney proceeds to tell a short overview of his story*
*Chris also tells a summary of his story*
*Both talk about the Pathos and Kairos of their story, how it made them feel at the time and what the moments of it.
Examples that support the messages include:
Johnney: How did you feel when you were kicked off the football team and band, how did it change you to be the person you are?
Johnney: Would you go back and change any of what happened if it meant sacrificing where you are now?
Johnney: What is your favorite part of life now that these events have changed who you are and made you into a new person?
Chris: Would you go back and change the way you were when you were in the relationship?
Chris: How did it feel while you were in the relationship and what were some of the positive things?
Chris: If you had the chance to ever get her back, would you attempt to? Why or why not?

Intro > Dialogue
Chris: On and off the Field…
Johnney: What he means by that is that problems hit you anywhere… I can say this from experience, *proceeds to give overview of story*
Or
Johnney: It’s true, life hits us wherever whenever it wants, Like…. *Gives overview*
Dialogue > Conclusion
Johnney: As you can see life isn’t perfect, it’s not meant to be but it shapes the person who we’re supposed to be.
Chris: That’s right Johnney, we all have to face many battles in our lives, but all that matters is if we can overcome them and be successful in doing so
Conclusion:
Life Sucks, it’s not supposed to be easy or else you wouldn’t have an interesting life. It hits you emotionally, and physically the hardest ways (pathos) and hits you at the worth place (Kairos), “If you havent learned anything from this (Insert time here) at least take this knowledge with you”: Everything will end up better look at us, : Proceed to tell moral and message of the story.

Examples that support the messages include:
- You put in a lot of time in someone/something for the time.
- Not only that but you enjoy the presence of something/someone only to have it ripped away
- You think a lot about what happened.
- Although all this stuff happened, we’re both living the college life, enjoying the presence of other people and doing what we love, everything ended okay

Life's a B*tch Reflection
Some after Assignment thoughts, they usually fill my head when I complete an assignment. This one was really eye opening for me, because it showed that not only do other people go through the same kind of struggle, but it also helps to realize that it's okay to talk about the sad times in your life and reminisce about where the good things have gone, but overall the whole message was that it will be okay, regardless of the scenario, everything always ends up better eventually. Overall this assignment had to be one of the hardest assignments I've ever had to do in an english class. Not because of how hard the assignment was, but how hard it was to really speak about something so personal, and i'm glad i did because it allows you to sit back and think about what may have happened in a time with such confusion and chaos. It helped me realize that maybe things ended up the way they should have, and maybe I should not be regretting this event but maybe be thankful for it. Speaking to my partner Chris about it really was soothing especially since he had a very sad even of his own, it really brings into light that sometimes people go through really hard things and talking about these events really do help. It teaches you a lesson. It also showed it was especially easy to run the timer down especially when you're speaking your heart out. The writing process stays very similar, but the other aspects of it are different, once you write down what you're going to say then you’re done. Speaking in a podcast is almost like reading from a script and building off of it, you gotta know how to follow up and be able to continue a thought without having an awkward bit of silence there although its alittle easier to mess up because sometimes it can be edited out when the podcast is not life.. When writing, I chose to leave out a lot of descriptive words, it just would've felt a little weird talking about them in person rather than writing them on paper because it just seemed to flow a lot better on paper rather than when you’re speaking live. Again the most challenging was definitely speaking my heart and not being afraid to talk about my most traumatizing event in my life. The most interesting thing was seeing how well I connected to my partner and how we were able to pull out 40 minutes out of such a distinct topic. That’s what writing does, and not only writing but just speaking your mind about a certain topic. It really allows people’s creativity to flow and connect ideas in a way that they never really have done so before. Overall this whole project was really enjoyable, it was easy to sit down and have a deep and well thought of conversation with Chris, and definitely brought new light to topics.
