Final Reflection
Final thoughts, what an adventure of writing this has been. From writing about short stories, to reading about tragedies of this very city to writing one of my best written essays ever, Overall this class has thrown me for a complete loop about my writing process and how I approach to essays and other writing assignments. Bringing in a creative way of building this portfolio it really shows how I've been built as a writer and what I really have thrown my passion into as a writer. Starting with the Intro Letter, i never thought I would enjoy writing as much as I have grown to love it in this class. I spoke about how I'd never become a solid writer and it would always be the one thing I dread in any english class but I had faith in this class, and that faith was well restored. My rhetorical analysis helped me look into the bright things of stuff, how just because we're taught to do things we may not want to do, it will always be for a reason. It grows us to be the people we have always wanted to be. Don't always think about the present, think about the outcome and how much better your life will be when you finish it. To the Personal Narrative that help taught me that its okay to look back at how I have changed, as long as I have become a better and stronger person that you were before, change is good. As well as to speak my mind, chances are when I do, there is someone who is always going through what I am going through, and sometimes it just good to share your stories, talk about them, and have a good laugh at how good everything is going right now. The Podcast helped further argue this, speaking is ultimately a the truest form of writing, just going on in my head. It brings a new form and method of writing and really helps me approach it differently, ultimately causing you to look at it in a new light. Finally, the blog posts really brought a twist to writing, giving you a topic to write about and throwing curveballs in there. It helped design me to be able to write on the fly and just free write. The whole semester has really helped build me to learn a new writing process and be able to be a lot more confident in my writing in the future. I am most certainly the most proud in my Personal Narrative. It has helped me learn writing isn't always gonna be happy or boring and will sometimes be really hard to talk about, but when I do talk about it, it helps cope and has most certainly helped me cope through some pretty devastating times in my life. I am so thankful and blessed to be able to go through such an awesome and life changing class with Professor Nisbett, and definitely do plan on taking her English 102 class next semester. Whats a better way to end off this project with a ROLL TIDE
